We are a Canadian based log home company based North of Williams Lake, Canada, specializing in building creative, contemporary and environmentally friendly high-quality log structures such as log homes, cabins, resorts, saunas and commercial offices and shops. Our pre-fabrication yard is located in McLeese Lake, British Columbia. All our projects are 100% handcrafted using premium-quality large-diameter, hand peeled logs, choice of Western Red Cedar, Yellow Cedar or Douglas Fir, with a combination of traditional building techniques and state-of-the-art-designs. The most up to date improvements in building technique are used regarding fitting of logs, settling issues and energy efficiency (insulation).

Integrating international building techniques into Canadian handcrafted log homes

We are very passionate about using environmentally friendly and non-allergenic materials for our handcrafted log homes (even more so now due to global warming and climate change), such as sheep's wool insulation and oil base protection on the log walls, which is actually derived from the pitch in the roots of the tree itself. We also promote the use of living green roofs on our log homes. Our frequent travel to Denmark and Germany on re-assemblies keeps us up to date with advanced green technologies. The experience we have gained with handling the shipping logistics from our site in Canada to building sites around the world makes it worry free for the client. As well we have developed a partnership with a carpentry firm in Denmark who does the project management with the client and finishes off the house after we do the re-assembly. We take pride in building just one house at a time, giving each project the maximum attention to aesthetic detail and each client the best personal service.
